There was a lovely podcast I listened to where Adam Carrolla interviewed Mike Rowe who talked about Ayn Rand and the deregulation (read - freed up to do what they are supposed to do) blue collar trades.

It was rather, um, wonderful.

Yeah. The trades might get bogged down with greenie regs. Sometimes I think I was raised on the very last days of the Golden Age. Everything's so different now. Maybe it's working at the jail but if I say, "Sugar is sweet." I'll find a hundred guys (inmates) who tell me it's sour. It's really frightening. So many people living in delusion.

and Slugger...don't be afraid of the Snuggle Bear. It's SO cute and cuddly. It sneaks under the blankets while you're sleeping. It stares at you and snuggles with you and giggles and then? It creeps up to your face and snuggles you to death...
