Re: Who Will See "World Trade Center"?
I really don't care for those kinds of movies, like the one they just did about the hijacked plane in Pennsylvania. the writers only have parts of the conversations that happened so they fill in the blanks and you don't know what was really said. It is slanted and skewed to work on the emotions of the viewers, sympathy for those killed and their families and hatred for those who did the acts. It only opens wounds that are still trying to heal. Not to mention the money they will make on the pain suffered by others.

Re: Who Will See "World Trade Center"?
That day, my husband was working in the area when the plane hit the Pentagon, he was doing excavating, I couldn't reach him all day. After many frantic calls to his boss, his boss finally called me to let me know that they were okay and not close enought to the Pentagon to have been it. The workers had been told to get in the trench and stay down until they could figure out what was going on and if more strikes were likely. The lady I worked with at that time, her husband was working at the Pentagon fixing the elevators, and doing maintenance work fortunately he was in another part of the building and wasn't hurt. Talk about a long, emotional day. I don't want to see anything about it, but my husband is fascinated by it. It is also a very ironic day, it is the same date as my mother's birthday and she feels guilty celebrating on a day that saw the loss of so many. I make sure I send her flowers on that day so she doesn't feel so sad.

I know what you mean. My nephew was born on that day, that very day. I couldn't reach anyone because the phone lines were jammed.
