Okay...more true confessions...I've never had a White Castle Burger. There, I said it.

I used to work with a girl who hailed from Chicago. She raved about White Castle. She hated everything about NE. Really. She thought that we were all unfriendly hicks. She liked me, though. I was her movie buddy. She has since moved back to Chicago. Oh...she hated our accents, too. Whatever.

I've had White Castle, but I don't remember it fondly. In fact, the best burger I ever had was at a dive in New Orleans. That burger figured in my dreams, waking and sleeping, ever since. Juicy, cooked perfectly, seasoned just right.....damn Katrina! Damn that hurricane to hell!!!!

There's a place in the Columbia mall (Champps) that has the best hamburger I've ever had (twice, actually). It's a double and it's about $11 but it's really worth it.

Truthfully, I've never had White Castle. I've had Little Tavern which I hear are the same...late night drunk-chow.

The worst burger I've ever had was in Hawaii. It was at a restaurant chain that claimed to have the "World's Best Burger". Yuk...

Best burger I ever had, was at a now defunct stand called the Suburban Chef. It was perfectly spiced, and served on a fresh sourdough bun. The fries were great too!
