Sooo, what did you think of last night? It was fun to see Boone again. And Charlie is hilarious when baiting Locke. I thought it was a pretty good episode. Except that if Eco had been dragged into that cave by a bear he would have been significantly more injured. there would have been huge rips in his skin and muscles where he had been dragged.
So, how did Locke get into that wheelchair?
Yeah...it was pretty interesting last night. Hubs and I agree with you about Eco. I'm glad that they're bringing back some of the old mysteries. The polar bear, Locke's wheelchair, Locke's "Shamanistic" side...they're de-wussifying Locke! Finally!
Oh...I love Stephen King, too. The Stand, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Shining...these are some of my all-time favs. He's kind of like the little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead. When he's good, he's very, very, good and when he's bad he's horrid.

I also love SK, <not to mention the rhyme teeks> Dreamcatcher, The Stand, his weavings of what is buried in the deepest recesses of the mind with a real good/evil mythos in a lot of things. Not to mention he writes a well crafted work. not all of it is personally my fav but overall I like his stuff.
I missed seeing the show last night but have caught up with what I can on different sites and got it on DVR. I am glad we are back to more of 'our' guys.
As for the wounds on Eko, maybe they were not worse b/c it is not a regular polar bear- it is special too? Even regular bears can, if they choose, drag things without too much harm to them. they move cubs.....

True (about the bear) true. SK is definitely one of a kind.
About the rhyme? My Mom used to repeat it to me whenever I was being...how should I put this...difficult?

but cubs weight a lot less than Mr. Eco. And cubs aren't food. Obviously from the boney litter on the floor of that cave, Mr. Bear has been eating Long Pig for quite some time, if you follow me.
1. It is already known that I will follow you anywhere DPC
2. yes he may have been eating long pig for awhile, but there was the large ex/implosion that may have rattled the bear, and the emission of electro-magneticness that also may have scrambled it's brain a bit, it also may have brought him back to snack on later if he wasn't feeling quite peckish at the time

but why torture sawyer so that KAste will admit her love? I don't get that!
maybe because they supposedly value honesty and want to have her honest feelings so that they know better how to control her and Sawyer and Jack also?

if you want honesty you will do anything other than torture. actual torture has been disavowed as a device to gain actual information. people in enough pain will admit to anything. people watching loved ones, even liked ones, in enough pain will admit and confess to anything just to make it stop. If these people were actual scientists they would know this.
*disclaimer - I have not ever used any form of torture on anyone.
yet.
* reclaimer- see above word... supposedly LOL
:bfly:
not to mention, Torture is a subjectively defined thing ye who says she has not used it yet muah ha ha ha

I thought the pot farmer was Zeke at first, too. Have we seen him before? Hmmmm.
I was so excited that Desmond was naked AND had an interesting part to play in the story. He's now my true fav.
