Re: Boards
right here goes
right heres the history
6th from right hand side- my 1st ever
my first board circa 1990 brought from zuma jay in Bude when i were 19 7'22 pop out, great at the time but i took it out last year for old time sake and it is a truly hedious thing to ride, now lives in the garage covered in spiders, stiil it served me well and got me from the white water to the green uns when i brought a 7'4 custom shaped by niel perrow which i had for far too long and was an absolute pig and nearly finish me with surfing
2nd in = the board that changed everything
9'4 custard point, brought around 2002 after far to long not surfing enough on a **** minimal, brought from small planet one sunny day , it had it's first go out at rest bay and flew, i was completley hooked it started weekly trips down to bournmouth and weekends at rest bay or north devon/ cornwall. but still not enought this boars made me sell my house and move down the south coast, many swells were ridden but alas time took it's toll and she is now not a pretty thing , her nose bloody'ed and even the dings have dings.
5th in from left- the fluff core flyer
i made it, and it works i 2004 vintage best paint job ever, i rode it loads untill the rocks incedent after an afternoon in the pub , still gets a go every now and then.
3rd in from right hand side
9' randy french surf tech
current No 1 board it is fantastic does it all i love it altho started to look a bit chipped on the nose which is a worry
in the middle=beach beat 7'2 fat boy flyer
my 9' is such turny fun it got me thinkin what this pointy short boarding would be like , also to help me speed up my lazy boy take off.. omly had 4 outings so far but i like it altho hard going after years of longboarding.
oh whats that right on the left
oh yeah picked that up today 1 10' gorden ansd smith surftech yep 10' ****in monster
this board is cause i wanted somthing bigger to smash into kookenator with, took it out in a small easterly thie arvo kin el its big took a bit of adjustment but i can knee paddle it and so easy to walk up, should be fun
there you go next please

Re: Boards
OH MY GOD!
Firstly, Luff's, you keep taking the piss out of how many boards we have and you have ALL THE BOARDS......
Secondly - that is not a board, that is the new pier. One day when you have been sitting around for long enough a sandbar will form just inside you to the left and a gourp of small shortboarders will be seen riding the inside right that you are creatig, like those cleaner fish that hang round Whale Sharks!
I've had two of those fatboys from Chops, they are genius.
