Glad you got a good day Chris, was that Secret spot or Sandsend? I went in at Saltburn on Saturday morning for a cople of hours, it was very messy with a strong cross shore wind (went in at the pier, came out under Huntcliffe). It was getting better on the rising tide as I left. Didn't get out on Sunday, 13 hour (clocks  )nightshift Saturday night, 12 hour nightshift Sunday night and sleep inbetween.  Had a drive past Redcar beech(Edd's about)this morning,0700, it was a foot and a half and almost barreling, I bet Saltburn would have been perfect.
Anyway here's todays piccy of Redcar.

Chris - where abouts are you off to in Anda? El palmar & Yerba Buena will be firing their titties off!!! If it all gets too big, surf down the 'Conil' side of El palmar....If your up for a another RH point, check cabos de Trafalgar, park on road in front of the lighthouse!
Ps. Dont leave your car anywhere obvious as there are some dodgy wankers about! also carry your passport (or a copy?) as they will pull you over and search you for drugs! (from moroc!)

hi inah, good to see you here.
ill be staying inland a bit at the other halfs parents villa. so ill be driving, access to the whole coast. i want to check el palmar, seen pics of it GOING OFF. i'd like to get waves along that whole stretch but if the surf it too big for me ill be stuck in shelter. ive been told the cadiz beaches get shelter and as you move down to tarrifa (past cabo de trafalga)they get smaller (but windier) there is a beach in stormrider near cadiz that is (apparently) always small, i was told if there is a wave there at all everywhere else will be BIG. so im heading there 1st. i forget the name. im lookin fwd to this. by the look of it the whole coast is gonna light up.. har har!! ive been told that fishermen leave long lines with big hooks on them in the breaks, is this true???
hopefully the cops wont be too hard on me, my other half is spanish and fluent in that odd dialect they have there. oh and she dont surf so she can do car watch har har!

It's clean and glassy and the waves are nicely lined up on the Northeast coast today.........pity they're only a couple of inches high.
