OK, question here for all you log riders:

I'm looking into fins for my DIY board...Basically I want a tri fin set-up but Im interested in fitting a fin box for the centre so make it a bit more versatile...

The question is... surely if you can move the centre fin this is going to effect the rail to fin area...Im just worried about the board suffering from tracking...

What does everyone think? 3 set FCS type fins OR, 2 small stabilisers and a large moveable centre??? emoticon emoticon

The decision has been made!

I suppose if I put FCS side fins on, I can always remove them if they dont work with the centre fin in certain positions! And I suppose I can take the centre fin out and stick some big side fins in and use it as a twinny!

Got to shape it first though...it could take some time! emoticon

Im gonna get a full set of FCS plus a box and cheapo longboard fin.... I can swap the FCS around with my toothpicks as well....

i'm now thinking of making a fin tooo can't seem to find the one i want a fat old pivot fin

all they are is fibre glass cut out and sanded £40 plus seems a bit steep..

or i might buy a turbo tunnel for £60 depends on my mood
