sold the funboard, kept the minigun and bought a 6ft 8in. round pin like the others.

got some fecken unreal rides at el faro on the Mini. every fecker that came through town wanted to "give it a go". yeah rite!!!!! ill give up the waves of my life cos you brough the wrong board!!!!

its not so good in smaller stuff though, and here at lobitos the barrels are tight when the swell drops. hence the 6 8. i think im a shortboard convert......

yeah they proper rip! I want one myself but cant justify the cost as its quite a limited board but ideal for south coasting!

the lotus and squid look a bit fancy pants. i am trying to get something that is less egg like as i am starting to generate speed on my shortboard but when it's a bit smaller and i change boards to get into the slop I want loads more volume and less corkyness. rode my fish in costa in head high quality waves and found it a frustrating experience as you need to be so top to bottom to get speed - and I ain't good enough in uk waves to do that.

plus i can then take on the longboard outside maffia with the volume.

got a few things to pay for first though...boo. might have to put borx on the game again for a little bit first.

Yeah the problem Ive got is similar - normal fishy shortboard rips in the small stuff but then its totally undergunned when its overhead it feels like im paddling in treacle sometimes! emoticon

Looks like im getting the 'flying Pig' model emoticon 6'0 x 19 x 2.2 with a moon emoticon tail emoticon

Sounds like you might need some concave to get the speed up maybe?
