Eric loved working with DrewEric Bana has admitted his Lucky You co-star Drew Barrymore helped him through the movie's romantic scenes.
The actor, who plays an ace poker player in the romcom, hasn't much experience shooting mushy scenes but says his good relationship with Drew made things easier.
"Drew, of course, is a sweetheart and I'm one of her biggest fans. It's always dangerous to have expectations of your co-stars, I try not to, but she totally has lived up to that, and has been nothing but fun to work with, and we had some tricky stuff to do together," he says.
"I haven't had to do a lot of romance on screen and we had quite a lot to do in this movie, so it was essential we got along."
Eric also revealed he loved starring alongside Robert Duvall in the new flick - because he resembles his late grandfather.
"Curtis (director Curtis Hanson) had some names we were talking about and Duvall to me was always the one that was most exciting, for a number of reasons.
"Not many people know this but he actually has an eerie resemblance to my grandfather who's passed away, so there's a very strong family resemblance and whether that's a subconscious thing on my part, I've always been very close with my grandfather."

The Lucky You US DVD release date is September 18, 2007. It will be 1 disc in widescreen with a runtime of 124 minutes. You can pre-order it from Amazon.com for $19.99. I am sure that a lot of other sites will have it too. For those of you who rent online, Blockbuster.com is also showing it available to save to your queue for when it is released. Of course they will also have it for rent in their stores.

I know I'm commiting a crime against the Bana here, but I haven't seen LY, so I think I'll rent it when it comes out and then, maybe, buy it if I like it. Thanks dear Asti.
