Eric Bana y Terrence Howard protagonizarán una película sobre el asesino BTK

Los actores Eric Bana y Terrence Howard protagonizarán una película que adapta la historia de la captura del asesino en serie "BTK" que atemorizó durante casi 20 años a los Estados Unidos, según informó el martes la prensa de Hollywood.
El largometraje, que se llamará "Factor X", contará con la producción del director Ridley Scott, autor de las ya clásicas "Blade Runner" y "Thelma y Louise".
Es posible que Scott también dirija la película, según indicó Hollywood Reporter, fuente de las noticias de la industria del cine en Hollywood. Dennis Rader, de 61 años, fue el asesino capturado en 2001 y condenado en 2005 a cadena perpetua luego de haberse declarado culpable de 10 asesinatos en la región de Wichita, Kansas. Este padre de familia se autodenominó "BTK" en alusión a su método "Bind, Torture, Kill" ("Agarrar, Torturar, Matar"), en una serie de cartas anónimas en las cuales reivindicó suscrímenes cometidos entre 1974 y 1991.
Bana, actor australiano, de 38 años, tuvo papeles estelares en "Black Hawk Down" de Scott, "Hulk" del taiwanés Ang Lee y en "Munich" de Steven Spielberg. El estadounidense Terrence Howard, de 37 años, fue nominado en los Oscar 2006 por su papel en "Hustle and Flow" y también fue parte del enorme elenco de "Crash", la película que se llevó este año el Oscar a Mejor Película.
