Well, it is a love story first and foremost, but the love story between the two is intense and complicated and sweet and difficult. It's not overly romantic in the way, let's say that the Notebook was.

Tuzzy, if you are coming to Canada you better get your butt to Winnipeg.

Poppi, yes I definately do recommend this book. I agree with Luli, the book is not your typical love story. It is at times dark and intense, full of passion and despair but also full of hope. The book drove me mad sometimes. I mean, think about it. If the man you loved had some disease that made him jump in and out of time travel, you would never know when you would have him in your life. What age would you be? He could come and go at any time. That is what I loved about this book, it made it real and the author did an excellent job of portraying both characters' feelings of anxiety, love, frustration and passion.

I definately recommend it, and yes, as Luli said, it is quirky, another great reason to read it.

I read on IMDB, and I don't know how reliable it is, that this movie starts shooting on the 24th of september in Toronto. Some scenes will also be shot in Chigago and LA.
