You'd have to be living under a rock or in a cave (hehe) not to know that the new Batman flick The Dark Knight is currently filming in Chicago. Several spots in the Loop are getting a filmic makeover, and we have some (by now nonexclusive) pics of an interior set. Our source has wisely declined to give us the specific location; after all, you wouldn't want director Christopher Nolan all up in your face because you spoiled his set! We are told that this gorgeous staircase was built from scratch specifically for the movie. Might we be looking at a corner of Bruce Wayne's penthouse?
Previously we announced that the movie adaptation of The Time Traveler's Wife had begun preproduction, with Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams in the leading roles. If you've read the book you know that the Newberry Library plays a prominent role in the story. An anonymous source told us that a location scout for New Line took a tour of the library yesterday, asking questions and taking notes. Obviously this is a very preliminary step (although it's scheduled to go into production this fall) and at this point it's anyone's guess if they'll decide to do any location shooting at the Newberry. We think it'd be a real shame if they didn't at least utilize some footage of the moody exterior and the beautiful lobby. But you never know with Hollywood. Ocean's Twelve also shot some exteriors at the Newberry, and the final result was onscreen for about sixty seconds. Keep your eyes peeled

Bana will be in Toronto until mid-November co-starring with Ontario-bred star Rachel McAdams in The Time Traveller’s Wife. He plays Henry De Tamble, a man with a time-traveling gene who crosses paths with McAdams’ character at several times in her life

Asti, Toronto is way too far from MTL to go on my schedule (have to teach all fall in quebec city) snif. Plus, I'm not a fan of the city (I really, really don't like that city, sorry people from Toronto) :-) Although, honestly, I wouldn't know what to do or what to say or how to act if I ever saw/met him. I wouldn't represent us Luv4Bana girls (and guys) well, I think. LOL. I leave that wonderful task to our friends Tuzzy and Priska.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Ron Livingston has joined Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams in the feature adaptation of "The Time Traveler's Wife."
Bana plays a dashing librarian at Chicago's Newberry Library who has a gene that causes him to involuntarily time travel. He must help his wife cope with the many complications of his disorder as the two are often out of sync.
Livingston will play the man's friend, a liberal attorney who works for nonprofit organizations.
The New Line project is based on the Audrey Niffenegger novel. Robert Schwenke is directing. A September shoot in Toronto is being planned.
Livingston, who starred in the TV series "Standoff," recently appeared off-Broadway in the Neil LaBute play "In a Dark, Dark House."

Apparently, Brad Pitt took a liking to Chicago after his stay here earlier this month. Pitt, who was in town while other half Angelina Jolie filmed parts of "Wanted," is a co-producer of New Line's "The Time Traveler's Wife," which will shoot scenes in the city this fall. The unusual love story stars Eric Bana ("The Hulk") as a Chicago librarian who travels back and forth in time and Rachel McAdams as his you-know-what.

( although you don,t like the city, Eric is a great motive to go) Priska and Tuzzy sure love can meet with EB in Toronto but both live in Italy this something far away, but sure than if both can go running for meet with Eric for second time. I hope both can meet with him Priska and Tuzzy.
