Re: Bana on TV and Radio
Hey guys!
Just heard; the BBC is showing All Saints! It's on at 15.35 UK time. Unfortunatly, I didn't find out about it untill today, and I'm not sure which season it is, or which season Eric is even in...
So, everybody who gets the BBC; eyes open, DVD recorders on!
Love, Isis

Re: Bana on TV and Radio
Kath and Kim back with bang
THE girls from Kath and Kim have moved networks from the ABC to Channel 7, so do they make the grade?
Creators Gina Riley and Jane Turner were at the first public screening of the new series at Channel 7 at the Docklands last night.
Some die-hard fans are concerned the switch to a commercial network will kill the show, but they have little to worry about.
Each episode of the show once again focuses on a general theme, the first episode being Holiday.
Although there were no commercial breaks at the screening – so it's difficult to tell if that will have an impact – the first episode was like any Kath and Kim before it, full of laughs, with obvious storylines that will develop.
Riley and Turner have lost none of their quick wit, clever cultural observations and unique turn of phrase.
Guest stars for the fourth series include Eric Bana, Rob Sitch and Shane Warne.

Eric Bana back on TV
Date : August 13, 2007 Posted By : Kirby Kegar
Eric Bana is set to return to his comedy roots with a guest-stint on Channel 7 sitcom, “Kath & Kim”.
The project reunites Bana with a couple of former “Full Frontal” cast-mates, Gina Riley and Jane Turner, who of course play the daggy lead characters.
Bana – who most likely filmed his stint whilst shooting the movie “Romulus, My Father” in Victoria last year- will be seen in the episode airing August 26th.
Past guests on the series include Oscar Winner Geoffrey Rush, Barry Humphries and Kylie Minogue.
Thanks to 'Darren'

Re: Bana on TV and Radio
Kath and Kim tell us all
about their new series
at their new network
KATH AND KIM
Tonight 7.30pm, Seven
Q: You're all set to start on Seven tonight. Why the move from the ABC?
Kath: They made us an offer we couldn't refuse. We got David Leckie in the spa and crunched his numbers.
Kim: Kerry (Stokes) was also begging to get in. We plied him with Baileys and he was putty in our hands.
Kath: He got legless, literally.
Q: What bonuses did Seven offer?
Kim: I get all the Dippity Bix I can eat. I don't think even Daryl Somers has that in his contract.
Kath: I think Daryl gets what I get -- the Yuck-coolt and the prunes by the look of him. He probably needs it.
Q: Speaking of Daryl, Seven is the home of Dancing With The Stars. Is there an opportunity for you there, Kath?
Kath: Oh yes, they've made an offer to Kel and me. We're going to go on next season. We're going to open the show with some of our beautiful routines. I've already been working up a bit of a hip hop number.
Kim: As for me, Sonia Kruger look out. I'm the new foxy moron of Seven.
Q: I thought it might be It Takes Two for you, Kim.
Kim: It takes three or four for me, usually.
Q: On a commercial network you have a bigger budget. So there is a chance for more exotic
locations,such as
Southland and
Luna Park . . .
Kim: Oh yes, it's pretty
exciting. Bretty has even
been talking about taking me
away on a holiday outside
Victoria. I don't know whether it's
going to be Kyabram or Albury.
Kath: Kyabram is inside
Victoria. She's hoping to go north
of the border down Mexico way.
Q: There's talk you could even be going to the Sunshine Coast.
Kath and Kim together: Oh, finger and toes, fingers and toes.
Q: The show will feature the usual hangers-on. Guests include Warnie.
Kim: Oh yes, Shane Warne. He's been once again looking at real estate at Fountain Lakes. Knocking on my door . . . any excuse.
Kath: He's been texting me while I've been out shopping, begging us to give him a guernsey on the show.
Q: He's probably jealous. You two have played at a Grand Final. The best he's ever done is a Boxing Day Test.
Kim: Absolutely, I think meeting up with us was a bit of highlight in his career. Better than the Ashes, obviously.
Kath: He showed us his flipper, which was nice.
Q: I believe some bloke from Little Britain (Matt Lucas) was also trying to get on.
Kath: Yes, they all come out of the woodwork when you start filming because it's a glamorous life.
Kim: Little Britain is like our sister show because it's done by a couple of girls.
Q: And you've got Eric Bana as well.
Kath: Kel has worked with Eric before.
Kim: Eric was an apprentice in the shop, not many people know that.
Kath: Before he hit the big time he worked in the abattoir with Kel. He was very good at it. He does beautiful things with his meat.
Q: There's an American version of your show. It must have a small budget, it couldn't even afford to have you in it.
Kath: Yes, but at least they got the big C and D list celebrities to play us.
Q: Who would you like to play you?
Kim: Paris, I think. She's a bit more grounded these days.
Kath: She'd need to lose weight. She's the side of a house now. She's been sitting around in that cell. For me, Hillary Clinton would be the one. We both like to do our hair of a day time.
Q: Can you give us an insight into what we can expect in the new series.
Kath: Well, we've moved on to a certain degree. The house is getting a bit small. Kim and Brett are tackling life with the baby and they're not always getting it right. I'm on hand to give help as it's needed.
Kim: We're looking up our old roots.
Kath: Yes, we go back into our past to dig up some skellingtons in our closet.
Kim: And mum puts in some water features, which is probably the most exciting thing in the whole series.

Re: Bana on TV and Radio
Eric Bana November Kath and Kim Show
Out of the box
— Special guests for season four of Kath & Kim have been announced. Shane Warne, Eric Bana and Little Britain’s Matt Lucas, will appear in the series, due to start on Living on November 1. Kim’s baby, Epponnee-Raelene Kathleen Darlene Charlene Craig, is about to turn one, while Kath is keen to reinvigorate her marriage: we may turn from the screen if her and Kel’s efforts to do this prove too energetic.

Eric Bana Reveals Plot of New Star Trek Movie
Subscribe to The Celebrity Truth's latest news in a reader Home » Eric Bana Reveals Plot of New Star Trek Movie Eric Bana Reveals Plot of New Star Trek Movie
Actor Eric Bana has jokingly revealed the plot to the next highly-anticipated 'Star Trek' movie during an interview on Australian radio –the 'Hulk' star was very careful not to give too much away.
With a teaser trailer for the new movie debuting at the start of the movie 'Cloverfield', Trekkies the world over have started to buzz with reports of storylines and potential characters that will feature in the upcoming JJ Abrams-helmed revamp of the cult television and movie series.
Bana is locked in to play Nero in the new film, which movie website imdb.com describes as "a chronicle of the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members."
"OK, so here's what happens," Bana explains Sydney radio presenters Merrick and Rosso.
"You've got this ship right? And it's flying through the air, like, really fast. It lands, and these dudes get out.
"Then there's these other dudes, some of them have ears, some of them haven't, and they get into a bit of a fight. There's heaps of bullets flying and one of the ships has trouble taking off. Then they fix that ship and then there's a couple of other guys flying around.." Bana pauses before asking, "Is this good? Then this other guy turns up and he's had some problems with his missus…"
When probed about his character and what he'll look like in the movie, Bana deflects the question by saying, "You'll just have to wait and see."
The new 'Star Trek' movie opens in cinema's worldwide in December this year.
