and do you just make them like you make your banners and other stuff? and what are wallpapers exactly? are they for a screen saver?

Well, to make wallpapers I use two different sizes:
800x600 and I usually prefer the other one:
1024x768.
Talking about banner I have my "personal size" wich is 468x130 but you can use the size you want if you do them by "photoshop".

Hey Bana Hungry, In my case I always the use as desktop image.The program that I use does not serve to do screenseaver.

Ok dumb "Q"...what is photoshop? & where do you get all these softwares to make banners & avatars etc? I alway do my stuff up in paint & then have to guess-timate on size & do T-O-N-S of pixiltaing & cleanup work by hand one at a time! Takes FOREVER!

photoshop is a graphic software program.. it allows you to choose the sizes of pics and manipulations..hard to learn at first, but like anything, once you get into it, it is fun.
as for the banners, I know most of us used Banner Maker Pro, the 15 day trial.....and then after that you have to pay but I don't think it was super expensive....Banner Maker Pro
you can try it out...it's fun
