Metroid: Zero Mission

Does anyone have this game? It's one of the best 2D Metroids out there. It's a remake of the first Metroid for the NES, and it even has the whole NES game as an unlockable. One of my favorite parts of the game is that it's short. Not too short, but it's still short. Short enough to make a challenge of beating it as fast as you can!

The world record is 28 minutes to beat the whole game. What you have to do is kill Kraid, kill Ridley, Kill Mother Brain, and escape the Space Pirate ship. My record time is 58 minutes... But it's not as easy as it sounds! you have to know excatly what to do or else you'll be running around for four hours trying to find the Ice Beam! lol

So, who has this game and what is your fastest time? I'm interested to know how I stack up against everyone else.
If you don't have this game, you should really get it. It came out in 2003, so it's probably really cheap now, and it's a blast to play over and over again. It's for the GBA so you can play it on your DS, and it's worth the money, trust me.

yep 49 minits it was sooooooooo much fun and sooooo much eazer than the origianal(i have for NES)
and you can unlock the origanal in it to.

Meh.. you shouldn't buy it its not worth buying because when I played my friend's game it looked pretty weird and hard. You can buy it but its just my opinion. emoticon

hmm... Maybe i'll test it on a rom then decide if I want to buy it.... or I can just go look at a few pawnshops.

Theres this one bomb jumping trick in Kraid that allows you to skip the Acid Worm, it saves you about 5 minutes. It's near imbossible to do though.
I got to Mother Brain in 29 minutes. I think I can get my time down to 40 minutes if I try hard enough.
