if you played megaman battlenetwork games then its mostly the same
there are battle chips that you chose from and thay can only be from a certan leeter
so too chips have a's then you can both of then and thay all have difrent abelitys, attack and elements.you can also put 3-4 chips i a spasific order and make a super powerful attack.(eg sowerd(80 att) L side sowerd(80 att) L and long sowerd(80 att) L IN THAT ORDER= life sowerd(400 att!)(dreem sowerd in japanise) and the range is better then all of them!
a new thin that there is is you can combind chips to make powerful attacks(like progam advaces) and you can make them your signicher move and you can trade them with friends(wi-fi) and use your friends also!

well the battle network series plays differant from the mega man zero series, mega man zero and mega man zx are old school platformers while battle network is differant.
