Stranger Than Fiction [spoilers]
Just by watching the commercials on this movie, you would know that the main character (named Harold Crick) is being narrated by a female British voice.
In the beginning of the movie, Harold starts hearing a voice that seems to be narrating certain parts of his life. Working as an IRS agent, he goes to a baking shop to audit the worker by the name of Ana Pascal (who seems a bit Anarchist). As he hears the narrator narrating about his death, Harold decides to get some help from Dr Jules Hilbert, of whom was an English professor. Eventually both Dr Hilbert and Harold realize that Harold is in a tragedy-type of story. Dr Hilbert tells Harold to live his life. And so, Harold decides to go on a break from work, and buys himself a guitar.
Ana and Harold eventually fall in love with each other, which leaves Harold thinking it was a comedy story, and not a tragic one. He goes back to visit Dr Hilbert, who cannot identify the author that could be writing the story of Harold's life, and probably death. Harold looks at Dr Hilbert's TV and recognizes the voice -- it's the narrator!
He tracks down the author (Kay Eiffel), and tries to convince her to not write down his death. In the end, Harold ends up pushing a boy away from an oncoming bus, and gets himself hit. He then wakes up later on in the hospital with a bunch of broken bones. The doctor then tells him that a glass shard from his wristwatch saved his life.
Pretty freaky, if you ask me, considering that Kay Eiffel was writing everything accurately to what Harold was doing... and realized that she couldn't just kill a living person.
I give the movie a 4/5.

Re: Stranger Than Fiction [spoilers]
Nice review! I was going to go out and see this movie, but I had second thoughts and must have forgotten about it. I'll check it out for sure now.
