Water Marks - Running the Bank When Cast
If your dog is running the bank when you release him, simply run the pup from the water. Walk the pup into the water, tell him to heel, sit and signal for the bird boy to throw the mark. The pup should head out by water when you cast him. Move backward (towards the shore) with each subsequent mark.
