valley training group (seriously)
Hey guys/gals - most of you know I've been wanting to get an ORGANIZED valley training group going since I moved here two years ago.
Anyone interested please e-mail or call. Everyone knows it takes more than 2 people to go out and train dogs at the intermediate/senior level, as well as finding training grounds, etc. IT would be great if we had enough people at each level to form sub-groups too.
I'm not talking about just spur of the moment training sessions - I'm talking about setting dates/times/locations 2-3 weeks in advance.
would like to firm up ideas by getting together for a meeting.

Sounds good to me, any ideas when you want to get started training as a group?

Re: valley training group (seriously)
To give folks a chance to get the message - I am thinking a meeting in mid-march would be good. How about Friday, March 11... we can meet at The Windbreak restaurant - 7:00 pm
Juli
ps - this does not have to be for just int - senior level - started dogs too.

Re: valley training group (seriously)
Heyya Juli,
I'll touch base with you before the meeting, but I also need to get together with a group.
I wanted to ask what you know about the property behind Wa-mart. I think you mentioned it to me before, but it would be nice to get access to train there regularly if it's not okay now. Drop a note if you know something about it.
See ya.
Brad

Re: valley training group (seriously)
Hi All,
Newbie here. I would be interested in joining a "started" group. I live in the Valley.
Thanks,

Re: valley training group (seriously)
Hi Tom,
You should definitely try to come out with whoever gets together as a group. If a group of started folks can make it happen... great, although chances are, a training group would consist of dogs in all stages of training, which is okay.
Everyone there will help each other in turns and you can learn a lot from people training more advanced dogs.
Hope to see you this spring.
Brad

Thanks Brad, I will check back here periodically to see if any groups are forming. Also, feel free to e-mail me if you know.
Thanks,
