bush hotel reunion?

Has anybody heard anymore info regards, tony class organising a reunion?.
I'm probably the only person on this site who's not involved with either facebook or myspace.

Apparentely if enough members joined the 80s bush hotel thing on facebook, tony was going to organise something!!.
I think i must have attended99% of the mod/stylist clubs in the late 70s,early 80s all over london, middlesex and essex etc.

It was'nt the smartest club or the best dressed, but it retains most of my memories from that period,i like, most of you, would love a reunion and think it would be hugely attended!!.
so if tony's worried about filling a venue, please express your views here!

At one point I was spending Saturday, Sunday & Monday/Tuesday in the Bush Hotel. Had some fantastic nights in there and saw some great gigs in there and have a lot of fond memories of the place. Was in the area a few years back and went in for a pint and stood in the area where the dancefloor used to be. It may not have been the smartest venue but it had a lot of character unlike the O'Neils that now occupies the place. I don't do faceberk but if Tony organises a reunion, i'll be up for that.

Like Dave, was there Saturdays, Sunday, Mondays etc...I don't think I missed a single Saturday for 3/4 years...then there was teh Mod Bingo, Driller killer, Porn and not forgetting Sneakers, whose place in history is assured.

Finding a venue with the level of luxury of the Bush will be difficult..it won't be the same if you don't stick to the carpet and have sweat running down the walls.

Talking of sticky carpets reminds me of another club/pub in Shepherds Bush that was on for a short while,The Wheatsheaf???,was this one of Tony mod nights as well, cant remember! What i do remember if you stood still for long you were virtually welded to the carpet...happy days !!

did they have carpet at the Wheatsheaf...I thought it was just sawdust...Tony did it when he (temporarily)fell out with the Bush..happily they kissed and made up.

My favorite was the Trafalgar...I'm sure the manager took up the dancefloor because he didn't have the guts to throw us out emoticon
