Twisted Wheel

Have a listen to these boys, not quit mod but definetly worth getting to see before they hit the big time, touring with The Enemy at the moment and backing up Oasis in the summer.Ive seen them a few times already and they are a great live act.

Enjoy.

Re: Twisted Wheel

I can imagine them putting on a very energetic show but the songs I've heard by them don't excite me.
I think there are a lot of better bands out there and a lot of better records being released.

I don't think they as bad as Old Man Steptoe or Quoasis but their sound does nothing for me, more of the same indie guitar sound that has been doing the rounds since britpop started

I'm going to see them on Wednesday at Kings College, really like the recent single We Are Us.

Re: Twisted Wheel

Just got back from the gig, thought they were very good live. The first half dozen songs sounded like the In The City album speeded up. May not be anything that hasn't been done before but they do it better than most and i'll definitely go and see them again.

Seen them about 5 times now and they do a great live show. They are only young lads but possess some good songs. The album is worth a listen and Lucy The Castle is a great song if you want to YouTube one for a taster!
