The Tall Faces - a tribute to The Small Faces!!!
Yes folks, due to intense demand, classic mod & Northern Soul covers band Dan's People has expanded its repertoire of Small Faces songs and will very soon be gigging as an out-and-out Small Faces tribute band, to be called…The Tall Faces! We're already sorting out dates with a number of venues, and expect The Tall Faces to be very busy, very soon, so please keep checking this forum for gig details.
In the meantime, if you live in or near Poole in Dorset, and fancy having a Small Faces tribute band palying in your neck of the woods, you could help make it happen! One of the venues we're talking to about booking The Tall Faces is Mr Kyps (which is in Poole). We've played there before as Dan's People, standing in at short notice for Who's Who, who had to cancel their gig because their singer got a throat infection (I think). Anyway, the folks at Mr Kyps like to gauge the demand for new bands before booking them by putting a post on their website's message board and monitoring responses. So if you like the idea of us playing round your way, please let the lovely Mr Kyps folks know by adding your response to the Tall Faces post on their message board at www.mrkyps.net - cheers!
