But which Aussie accent don't people like ?
I am told I sound English, whatever that means.
This is a huge country .
Aren't there several accents in London alone ?
We even have speech differences in a small city like ours.
Do you judge by soapies ?
Shall we ? I don't like the accents on some of the pom soapies we cop, but I understand they are not representative of an entire country.

Speaking of Accents .....Noddy Holder is about to reform Slade and he walks into Harrods to get some original gear from the 70s ........he explains this to the assistant who says "would sir like a kipper tie"
to which he replies ..........
"Oh thank you very much...2 sugars please"
think about it, think about it ...er ..I'll get me coat.............

To be honest I couldn,t tell yer the diffeence between Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney but I do know I really like the OZZ accent in general

I read some research about call centres recently, and it said that Scottish, Welsh and Yorkshire are the preferred accents, Birmingham is the least-trusted
