Advertising up to 7/6/03
Hi, everyone! Just wanted to let you know what I am doing to increase traffic to this board.
I have emailed numerous crochet and knitting websites who invite email about things related to crochet (NO SPAMMING!) and have told them about this board. I have listed it on the Yahoo! Crochet Group in a post, and posted about it to all the other crochet messageboards I could find so far. I will add the keywords "crochet message board, crochet for hire, knit for hire" to my webpages so search engines will pick it up.
I plan to investigate freelance websites, craft sites, magazines, places who sell crochet items and even look into the possibility of pitching to high profile designers and artist for recognition.
Would love to hear your ideas!!! I really feel passionate about getting this board off the ground and doing what it was created for - helping artisans earn money and helping people who want crocheted and knitted items to get their needs met!
I'll update you again soon on how it is going!
