Rising Tide Can't Lift The Day After Tomorrow
I was anticipating Day After Tomorrow from the first trailers months ago.
While the visual effects delivered as promised, the film lacks any charisma in the cast and a plot to support them.
A Russian Oil freighter floating down Wall Street or twisters winding through downtown LA should be more than enough material to work with, but this movie still manages to blow it.
It actually ends where it should have started...with millions of freezing Americans storming the Mexican border for shelter from the ice age which had overrun the U.S. That would have been a story in itself.
As it is, the film moves with all the excitement of a glacier.
