Hampton Virginia Regional

Has anyone been to this track before? What is it like? Is anyone going to the Regional April 1 & 2?

Expect a lot of wind...the track is located right off the Chesapeake Bay. Don't know if the track layout has changed, but when we were there 4 years ago, you could literally land in water if you happened to go out over the one turn.

Jared loves this track and usually does well there. I think it is a small-kid friendly track rather than for the bigger guys.

We are in close contact with the track director of Hampton Ed Townend as he is Daltons team manager. They just had a rebuild after the Lexington race down there with Tom Ritz and the track is very technical. From what I've been told from the Townsends the big kids will love the track! We are planning on going down and can't wait to get on the track. Check out their pics on their website of the rebuild. The article in the Bmx Today was great for Hampton. Of all the regionals in the area this will definitly be the one to attend!! www.hamptonsupertrack.com.

Not this time, it is our first track clean-up and my 8th birthday, so we are going to hang at home. Come to South Park the next weekend, the 8th, that might be our first race. I can't wait to get the season going again!

Your friend,
Jared

My birthday is the 2nd, too!

There is a funny story about how my mom went into labor the day before, but since she jokes too much, my dad didn't believe her. He thought she was playing an April fools joke on him.

Are you racing the whole state series? I like to camp with my dad, we are going to every state again this year.

See ya later
Good luck in hampton
Jared

anyone going looking for a reasonable room rate the "extended stay of hampton is offering rooms for $48.00 for 2 double beds they have full kitchens in each room. if anyone is interested get ahold of me to book. I have a few saved for felt racing and I am sure they will give me more for that rate. Lisa 716-450-1983 emoticon emoticon
