Proficiency freeze in effect for State Championship

This year, the NBL has moved up the top 5 in each rookie and novice class to the next proficiency. Rookies that earned natonal numbers #1 through #5 have been moved to novice and novices earning #1 through #5 have been moved to expert.
However, the NBL is allowing those riders to race the regional championship race in Woodward at the proficiency level at which they earned the points.
In the interest of fairness, the Keystone Series is going to follow the NBL's lead and allow a proficiency freeze for our series. Riders will race the Championship race at the same proficiency that they were at the final qualifier August 26.
This will only apply for the state championship. All other local races must be run at your new proficiency rating.
Please pass this on to all who may be involved as we try to eliminate any confusion.

WE HAVE BEEN CORRECTED !!! Angel Dorr from the NBL contacted Don and Cindy Wagner and said that there is NO proficiency freeze for the regional championship !!! You will have to race your new classes at Woodward. They asked us to remove that info from the state website.

There continues to be a freeze for the Keystone Series. You will race the state championship at the same proficiency at which you qualified as of the final qualifier.

Sorry about any confusion!!!
