Work Day July 29th/30th
A work day is scheduled for Saturday July 29th and if we need to, Sunday the 30th. We will be there at 9am.
Map to track
Goal:
Sweep where needed
Repair jumps
Clay the entire track
Make sure the starting gate is working properly
And anyhting else to get the track race ready
What to bring:
people willing to help
brooms, shovels, rakes, etc

For anyone keeping an eye on this post.
I was just informed the the clay that we have on site needs to be screened before we can put it on the track. Hopefully this will be done before the weekend so it won't delay our work day. I will keeps this thread updated as I have more info.

It doesn't look like the clay will be screened before the weekend. In any event, I will still be going to the track Saturday morning from 9am-noon. My plan is to clean the turns of some loose rocks , nothing major. Anyone is welcome to come check out the track, bring your bikes if you want. Even though it won't be an official work day, you would be able to see what the track is like and what it's potential is.
I will have the first gate open. There is a sign on the gate "FUTURE HOME OF THE HAZLETON BMX TRACK". If you need directions let me know.

Well we didn't have an officail work day, but a few people did show up and we did manage to get some stuff taken care off.
I am pushing to have the tower done, the starting gate/hill done and the clay screened before this weekend. If the clay gets screened we will have an offical work day Saturday Aug 5th. Cross your fingers for me.
