Midnight Open Spectacular
We will be holding an Open race on July 2nd, the monday after the South Park national. We will be having a local race at 8pm, then holding the Open race after that under the lights! We will have 4 classes which are 16 & Over Pro-Am money, 12-15, 11 & under, and Girls. All classes except the money class will get prizes to at least the top 3 riders. We have gotten EVS Sports, UFO Bikes, Sonic Numberplates, and Baker Designs to sponsor the race so far, if you would like to help out or know anyone who would like to help let me know. Also, I believe camping will be available Monday night and possibly Sunday night. Plan on attending, it should be a big event!

Ok, I got a question about lodging. If you are coming from around Titusville, Erie, Jamestown, and even possibly Hamburg, we might be able to hook you up with something. If you don't have a ride home after the Open and are going to south park for the national, I can pick you up from that then there is a cabin that we will stay at. Then after the we will stay there again and take off tuesday up towards Jamestown and drop people off. We have two people doing this already, we can take 5 more.
Also, if you we will bringing a camper but don't have anywhere to stay sunday night, let me know and I have a place you may be able to park it overnight.

With the Midnight Open Spectacular less than a month away, there is ton's of updates going on. Most importantly, we have decided to run a different format than a regular race. We will be running a "Last Place Gets Eliminated" format, where we keep running the moto's and elminating last place until only two are left. Also, there will be no corner marshalls. We are currently also working at adding a pro section to the track that should be done for this race. The top 3 riders will receive oversized checks to keep. The payout will be over 100%, and we will pay back as many spots as we can. Another unusual thing we are doing is having the riders pick spoons for gate picks as they do in motocross. All of these changes are for the 16&Over Pro-AM class only.
We have gotten more sponsor donations for the younger rider classes including gift certificates, shirts, tires, and tons of other stuff. We should have even more goods coming in soon. The top 2 riders in each class will also recieve a numberplate that they will be able to run at this event next year.
This should be an exciting event as it is right after the Elite national in South Park, it's under the lights, big prizes and payouts, and lot's of exposure. We have been running some commercials on local radio stations and posting flyers for spectators all over the area. Remember, this race isn't just for the 16&Over class, it's for any age riders! Bring the youngsters out, there will be lot's of prizes and excitement for them too!

Check out this article that was in the local johnstown newspaper type thingy. We're trying to get alot of spectators here. We are also finishing up the pro section so that it is rideable for monday. Should be interesting, so come check it out.
