Re: Ever Had a Haunting Experience?

I have had a few strange things like that happen to me. One time, I felt someone sit at the bottom of my bed and just give me a touch. I shot up instantly and called out my brothers name. I had been dreaming about him when this happened. We were only a little over a year and a half apart in age and he passed away when he was 20. I swear to this day, he was there. I felt him. Hard to believe he has been gone 25 years now.
I have also experienced covers being lifted up from me while I was sleeping. Felt them going up 3 times in a row.
I like to think that was either my brother or father just letting me know they are there.

It might very well be. I don't know if it is possible to pinpoint who a spirit is, just by sensing it, but I have felt that way too.

We hear footsteps through the hallway, and I am almost postive that it is either my kids' daddy, or their grandfather. The footsteps seem to "patrol" in front of their rooms, like they are either looking out for them, or checking on them.. kind of like what a parent does after their kids are asleep.

My daughter heard them one night, and voiced out that it was "freaking her out".. and right after that, they stopped.. I've only heard them 3 or 4 times since then, and it's been way after the kids have went to sleep.

Maybe whoever it is, is aware that they scared her, and are trying not to be so obvious.. I'd like to think that.. it'd be nice to know if that was true.

This may sound weird...but im afraid of my moms closet!

I get a very EVIL feeling when i get near it and i have to leave asap!

When i was younger and still living with my mom i never went into her room alone and NEVER at night!!

To this day im still afraid of it and i still get an evil feeling from it and even my dog hates it and shes not the sharpest tool in the tool shed!

I dont understand why i get an evil feeling (and im the only one who ever has had any "feeling" from it) i just stay away!!

I don't think that sounds weird at all.. I used to get those feelings about my basement when I was a kid, (but I do think that place was haunted!) I also feel that way about an area about a mile from where I live now, It's near an old quary, and there's really nothing around there that is specific, but the whole place gives me the creeps when I'm near it.. but nobody else feels it..

I think you could be picking up certain vibrations (or energies) that are in that area. If your dog senses it too, I would use that as a good indication that your feelings are true. You just may be more sensitive to these feelings than other's are.

I am a believer to trust your instincts.. something might have happend in that part of the house (could be from a previous owner). Or it could be something to do with the land itself.

You could try to do a search to see if there were any accidents or if something used to reside in that location.. say an old house that burnt down before your mother's house was built there.. etc.. these are just possiblities.

Funny you mentioned basement. While growing up we lived in an old farm house. Originally it didn't even have pipes or venting for a furnace, because it never had heat of any kind. But the basement really spooked a sister of mine, it was an old root cellar and she just hated going into it.

I think old houses are the coolest, just everything about them. I'd love to be able to go through an old mansion..one that has all those secret passages and revolving book cases. If I ever win the Lotto.....

Pink...was it an old house that has the closet? Maybe it needs checking out. Might be an old forgotten steamer trunk or family photo album that needs to be found and looked at. Something that needs to be re-discovered.

Its not a terribly old house. We have looked for information on the house and the property but no such luck! There are two houses on my moms 3 1/2 acres and that house is just as haunted!
The bathroom of that house is really bad but i know why. An old man will appear sitting on the toilet and a second later he is drowned in the bath tub (its full of water and some blood but not much!). He is pretty old and he is wearing a flannel coat and jeans. Its really sad how he died and im the only one whos seen him!
so weird and i dont know why he chose me, or THEY chose me but what ever, its kinda cool sometimes. emoticon

I think that could explain alot.. if someone did in fact die in the other house, that would also make sense. Maybe the closet is where they "hide".. they seem to go where no one will bother them, or they think is a quiet space.. The houses could be connected since they are on the same land.

I think they chose you because you are sensitive to seeing them. Have you ever tried to speak to them, or does this seem like a residual haunting? Do they seem to interact with you at all?

Maybe they are confused, and don't realize that they have passed on.. If you can see them that clearly, I would definatley try to communicate someway, maybe they need your help.

I CAN see them clearly! Wow, i never thought about trying to communicate with them. Great suggestion, i dont know why i haven't thought of that before, i just kinda watch them. Thanks for that idea!!! emoticon

On the other hand i HAVE heard things call out my name or try to talk to me. My whole life ive ALWAYS had a female call my name, especially when some thing bad is about to happen. It keeps me out of danger! Now when i hear it i dont do what i was about to do. One time "she" called my name and i decided not to go with my friend on her quad. The next day at school i found out that my friend had gotten in a terrible acident and had her jaw broken, she was rideing her quad!! It happens all the time. One time it was a deep, demonic sounding voice calling my name but nothing happened and i have never heard it again.

I think ( can't say for sure...I've never been in any position like that ) I'd tend to respond more to an Angelic type voice, then the deep intimidating one. Just seems more natural.

I'm just going to follow this topic, Shell has the better input on it, So I'll just follow it..Don't want to kill a good thread.

You're welcome for the idea.. emoticon I hope maybe you will be able to help whoever is wandering around..

As for the female voice.. I would guess that is your spirit guide.. it sounds like you are VERY connected to the spiritual world. Usually you can just get a feeling, or "just know" something. Not many are as fortunate to be able to hear them so easily.

I think everyone has experienced an event that they should have been a part of, but for some reason decided not to do it.. I once took a different route to work, and then got to work and heard on the radio that there was a horrible accident. Had I went the way I normally do, my kids would have still been in the car with me!

I hate that your friend was injured, but I'm glad that you listened to your "inner voice" emoticon

Have you ever considered meditating? There are tons of good guided meditations that will actually help you meet your spirit guide, and with someone who appears to be as sensitive as you are, I think it could help you understand a lot of things, and it would probably come naturally to you.

These are just my thoughts, but if you need help in finding good meditations.. I have one in particular that might help.. just let me know.. I can send it to you.

---And Larry... your comments are always welcome!.. emoticon
