Last night...
One of my dearest friends called me last night to tell me that she had just experienced something out of the ordinary.
First, let me tell you a bit about her. She has had unusual experiences for years. She has had a few dreams that have come true, and has lived in houses that have been haunted. Her mother also has the gift of "dreams," as well as her daughter.
My friend.. Connie, doesn't know how to understand these dreams and has had difficulty with them. She's learning to meditate to try to understand them.
Last night, she called me saying that she wasn't feeling well, and her and her husband decided to go and get a burger so she wouldn't have to worry about dinner.
She came home and was sitting on the couch, and had a clear view of her bedroom. Her husbands lighter was sitting on the dresser, and it mysteriously flew off the dresser and she said .. "floated about 5 feet, then dropped". She asked her husband if he'd seen it, and he said that he just caught something from the corner of his eye.
She got up and was looking around and thought her fan might be to blame, but the fact that her fan was facing the other direction, and the weight of the zippo lighter, it didn't add up.
She asked me.. what are the odds of one person, living in several haunted houses? I told her, that I thought she was like a "becon" and they are trying to get her attention. I told her to try to get some EVP's and see what she comes up with, I think they are tying to speak to her, but she doesn't know how to "hear" them.

Whoaa....yes, That sounds so interesting. I think I'm immune to that...or to boring, As much as I'd like to experience anything close to that, It's never happened. Not even anything close I could pretend was an event.
We did find out that the previous owners of this house, the wife died at home, but she must have passed in peace, nothing wakes us up ( except my snoring ) nothing out of place.

Sometimes the events are as subtle as a butterfly landing on/near you.. I believe they are always around us, and can, and do, visit at the drop of a hat.
I believe the only time major events occur are when there is some kind of turmoil. Either on this side, or the other. I believe.. if there is major stress on this side, it is their way of saying.. "everything's going to be all right"
When the activity escalates to a major disturbance, you have someone on the other side wanting to be heard.
I think Connie is one of these people that, the other side see as sensitive, and are trying to get her attention. I guess time will tell, and when I hear more, I'll let you know..

I'd be in trouble, because something like a butterfly...I'd never notice ( raised on a farm, that was pretty common ) But I understand what you're trying to explain, And it makes sense. Mostly...something that isn't in your daily routine?
