Shadow Beings
I have heard a new theory on shadow people, and thought I'd share it.
A very good friend of mine shared her thoughts with me, and said she thought they were here to guide lost souls onto the next spiritual realm. Their whole purpose is to do this job, and they do not want to be noticed by the living, when they are, they duck and dodge..
(I've also heard the theory that they are "ghosts" who do not have enough energy to fully manifest.. but that doesn't explain the classic shadow being.. with a long coat, and brim hat.. )
From the stories I've heard, and also from my own shadow person experience.. I believe that makes good sense. I asked her what she thought of the small shadow creature that screamed at me might be, and she said it could be a collection of negative thoughts.. pure negative energy..
Every thought .. is put into a form of some kind.. some where.. it is all energy.. more people think good things.. good things happen.. bad thoughts.. produce bad energy.. makes sense to me.
Sylvia Browne even mentions something called a Tupla.. which is a creature formed by "thoughts".. She believes the Loch Ness Monster, and even Bigfoot have come to exist by imagination..
What are your thoughts on this?

Your friend has a very good theory, It makes sense and I couldn't debunk it. Especially where it was mentioned about ducking and dodging.
I've heard before about things that are created from the imagination. I may have mentioned it before..Maybe not. They were talking about " Monsters from the id " Where id is an ancient term for mind or imagination.
It does make sense.

I think so too, and it could explain why people see them where places are thought to be haunted.. they are there trying to gather the lost..
Monsters from the id.. never heard of that (id) but makes sense.. Do you think that's why they can't actually find a bigfoot.. or nessie?? Maybe they are a type of elemental.. that is between this world and the next.. and can only be spotted randomly..?

I wish I had your ability to explain things.
That's what I had in mind. Much like dogs can sense Good/Bad people, I believe certain creatures have the same ability, Where they can opt to be seen, or remain unseen. Not just by hiding..but allow an individual to see them...through thought.
I got to teach you something today...the id. It's a term I picked up when I was 9 or 10 I believe.
Here's another...Are you familiar with what a familiar is? I'm thinking you know.

Never heard of that one.. (I had to look it up) It mentioned something about a supernatural being that works as a mediator in dark witchcraft.. thought to be a demon.. ? It can take a form of a human, cat, dog, or even any other animal..
Very interesting, I personally find all that stuff fascinating. Like ancient folklore.. It almost sounds similar to a shapeshifter.. (like you had already mentioned in another area)

I just thought you would have known it. I heard about it in an episode of "Thriller" way back when....60's I think. It's a creature that is summoned to do ones dirty work.
Yes...Sounds very similar to a Shape Shifter, I think I'm right, let me know if I'm not. But Shape Shifters work on their own for their dirty deeds. Where a familiar is created or summoned to assist another to do the sinister work. Am I right?

That sounds like you're right on target... at least from what I've read online. But, do you think shapeshifters are evil by nature? (The one's on X-Files are..) I'm just curious, because this isn't something I know much about..

I do think they are evil, or why would they need to morph?
Every site I've read up on them, never has anything positive to say, there are a couple modern day ones that get mentioned too.
I get good ideas from time to time...about time I get out of this Brain Dead slump, don't you think?

I really need to update my library, and get some more interesting books.. I love to read about stuff like that.. although, most paranormal books only have things about ghosts, and ufos.. it's good to read about more unusual creatures..

It's harder finding things out about them. If you don't have some idea of what to look for...or Google, You'll come up with the same things everyone else has.
I'm finding that to be true more and more.
