Small Shadow
Once when I was a child, we lived in this really old house, that I swear to this day was haunted.
There were so many strange occurances, that I used to shrug off as my imagination. Until I was about 7 years old.
My mom had bought me a "collectors" edition of a leather E.T. doll, which sat on my stand next to my bed. Since this was "special" I was not allowed to touch it.. "it's only for looks" hehehe.. MOM'S!
Well.. one night, I was sound asleep.. and I woke suddenly and happend to look in the corner of my room.. which was also behind the stand where this doll sat. This black mass suddenly raised up and screamed at me.. the scream was horrible! It frightend me so bad, I was too afraid to move.. the only thing I thought to do was to pull the covers over my head.
I awoke the next morning, thinking that it had been some kind of dream, but I realized that the E.T. doll was lying next to me in the bed.
There was no way I could have grabbed it from where It was placed on the stand near my bed. I knew my mom didn't put it there.. since it was "only for looks"
I thought for sure then, that what I had seen that night could not have been a dream, that maybe when that thing raised up and screamed at me, it knocked it over.
I don't know. I do believe that I had witnessed something that night, and that is what made me a believer.
I never did see a clear image of this thing, other than a dark solid object.. nor did I ever see it again.. (thankfully!)

Hahaha spooky story kinda like the one's you hear in books, and I beleive you because if you were 7 why would you need to make it up and believe it today.
I'm glad I wasn't there well i couldn't have been i wasn't born then hehehe. Maybe it was a good thing for you to see that because that might be what got you into this kind of stuff.
And the E.T. doll in your bed is just plain freaky I hope your mom didn't see it hehehe.
The fact that you shrugged other stuff you saw in the house off it weird because that would probably mean that it happened since you were a little tiny kid even though 7 is young!
If you was to see that today I would freak out simply because it would have followed you all these years. That would be weird!
