When Ghosts Attack, Are they Evil or just trying to get your attention?
When I was attacked in my sleep by an entity, I wonder if they were just fustrated and got aggressive because no one was answering them? Not because they are evil. What are your views on this?

Also i have been attacked twice but only after investigations not during.so im wondering that if i could not get in contact with them during an investigation and i left too early before they could arrive. that maybe they just attacked me out of fustration. saying HEY!im here now. cause i believe if it was a true evil presence it would have continued longer than it did. im just thinking way outside the box here. because i have come across situations where the spirit is good but sometimes gets fustrated for something i did or didnt do and can become hostile almost like a sibling getting mad at you for touching thier things or moving something of thiers around

My first thought is, I don't think what you've experienced is evil. I think negative entities are a good possibility, but I am more inclined to agree with your thoughts.
Most of the "hauntings" I have read about, or experienced, (which haven't been very many).. What I gather from it is that the spirit is trying to get your attention. This is one reason I feel so strongly about investigators staying with the case until there is some type of cleansing/crossing.
I think if the entity is confused and wonders why no one is noticing him/her, they can become very frustrated, and start to manifest themselves in aggressive ways.. I honestly don't think they mean harm.
When someone does "notice" them.. by asking questions and trying to make some kind of contact, they will attach themselves to that person in hopes that they can find some kind of answers.
I cannot say if my opinion is meaningful or not, but this is how I perceive it. I hope it helps.

it gives a better understanding as to what im trying to get across. the only time i felt fear and discomfort was after david did his little rituals.
