I too have experienced the "footsteps".. ours are usually in the hall right in front of the kids' bedrooms. (I think it is my kids' father, he passed away several years ago, and we began to hear them shortly after).
I understand what you're going through, I have seen things only a few times, but do get a "sense" of something usual. I don't think you're crazy. But I know how hard it is to share your experiences with other people. Most don't want to believe, and will try to make you feel insane for even suggesting the possiblity.
Has your son ever given any indication that he see's or feels things around too? Children at that age are especially connected to the other side. Maybe that is why he had a hard time going to sleep that particular night??
I would also consider if there is anyway someone could get on your roof.. (although the running would be odd if someone actually was up there). When I was a kid, I heard something similar, just weeks before I saw my first "shadow being". There was no way possible for someone to get up there, my mom brushed it off as maybe a cat being up there.. (there were no trees close to the roof, and no way one could get up there) I know she said that to ease my mind.. but too many other strange things happend that same night.
I would try to look at all the possiblilites, but sometimes things like that cannot be scientifically explained. If you've had a sense of these experiences all your life, I would guess that someone is just trying to get your attention.

I still need to find a graphic for it...Any thoughts? And need different audio, that may be easy though.

The foot steps on my roof were NOT cats and they seemed to be as heavy as my son. I swear up and down that it wasnt anything I've heard before. I get chills every time i think about it but it also makes me that much more curios about what it was! I love stuff like that! Im SURE its no one i know who is dead because they let me know its them. (sometimes I smell my great grandfathers after shave when he wants me to know its him)
My son sometimes would look over my shoulder and start laughing and when i would look where he was looking.....nothing. I ask him questions but he doesnt respond so I believe he sees things to.
"baddco" do what you want w/ my story. As far as graphics........I dont know.????? I trust you'll find something perfect! Thanks again, for questioning what i heard and commenting on that and not my sanity! TRUST me im NOT crazy!

How long have you lived in this house? Maybe it's someone drawn to your son.. children do seem to bring them, even if it isn't a family member. Maybe they are drawn to his energy.
I don't think it is anything to worry about.. since your son seems happy with their presence.. I would still ask him questions.. eventually, he might tell you what he's seeing..
Have you ever tried to do EVP recordings?? That is something I would suggest. I would love to know if you catch something, or if you have any more experiences.

Ain't no reason to ever question anyones sanity or be doubting. If anyone did that...no one would ever want to post, or speak what they have experienced, they would be to scared of ridicule.
You won't get that here. Might get opinions...but that's all they are...opinions.

I just moved here (been in the house appx. 2 months) Im not worried about anything that might be here as long as it doesnt interfere with too much of my life. Soon we will be moving again, the house we are in now is temporary.
I know i will always have something happening or what have you. Like i said before, i kinda like hav'n things around. keeps me wondering and thinking all the time. I couldnt imagine my life with out it!!

this may sound of non importance but the last four nights my phone rings at exactly 7:42 pm and when i answer it (the nuber is (000)000-8892) all i hear is static and i get a nervous vibe from it....????? what the heck!?!?!?
What do you think????
am i reading too much into it?!?!?! (but i cant help the vibe i get)
