I BELIEVE they can touch you (based on personal experience) and i think they cant hurt you unless its an evil, demonic entity. I think the evil ones just want to show you they are capable of inflicting pain and they aren't afraid to do it either!! (i've seen it but haven't experinced it, thnak god!!)
If its a "ghost" I dont think they intend to hurt you, i know they try to show you what happened to them they are just lonely and confused. I've had something grab me realy hard on my right arm it startled me and it kinda hurt but it was just to get my attention.

Yes, that does answer it.. thank you very much.. It's kind of what I was thinking too..
I've also heard that an evil spirit can't bother you unless you allow it to, even if you don't intend for it happen. For instance: you're in a state of depression, or under the influence, or even having a negative outlook can attract these spirits.
Do you think that's true as well? Part of me is very cautious about trying to connect with the spirit world.. I've always tried to be open minded and positive, but I wonder if they can still come through, and mess with you.

I agree with what you have heard, about being negative can attract negative spirits and im very cautious about the spirit world, u just dont always know whats out there! eeeep!!!!! i got chills!!

ok, so I was @ my moms house this weekend and my sister and I were sitting on the couch and rubbing her kitties pregnant tummy when all of a sudden something pushed really hard on the back of the couch sending me and my sister off the couch and onto the floor!! We were so shocked because the couch is tightly up against the wall and there was NO way anyone or anthing could get behind it!! We sprung up and looked behind the couch and went out side to see if anything fell against the house to cause us to be thrown off the couch, but nothing!!! It was so weird and we BOTH know it happened and know it was something paranormal!!

Good to see you again Pink... Sounds like it was a chilling experience. I would be alarmed at that much force, wondering why they would seem so aggressive. Have they ever hurt either you or your sister before? Or anyone else for that matter?
It sounds like there is something very unwelcome in that house.. I would consider having someone come and do a house cleansing. (That sometimes helps, but not always).

That would really make me wonder what went on in the past there. I mean 2 of you getting pushed off, Unless you're both skin & bone and weigh 120# together Shell is right...that's a bunch of force.

The entity hasn't hurt any one but it has grabbed my brothers arm when he was sleeping on the couch! Its was at night and eveyone was sleeping and he thought it was my dad but he seen nothing!
Im 105lbs and my sis is 125lbs (appx) and yes it was a huge force to fling us off the couch! We've tried to have the house cleansed but it seems to make things worse than before!! The "hot spots" are the living room, hall way, and my moms closet!!

That's a good thought baddco, Sometimes things like that are what is holding someone back.
And if a cleansing makes it worse, I don't think you have a "friendly spirit" residing there. Have you tried to get an investigative team there to check things out? They can offer suggestions, and usually have contacts that can help you, and most of the time they won't charge you.. except maybe ask for donations.. (If they try to charge you, beware!)

I wish you the best of luck, it sounds like you really need to get the entity to leave. If it is negative, it can cause all kinds of problems, like emotional, financial, health, and problems in relationships..
