Ever seen a UFO?
Have you ever experienced strange lights in the sky that were unexplainable by any means? Sometimes these can be explained by so many possiblilies, but then there are those strange accounts, that are undeniable ufo's.
A friend of mine living in Michigan, claimed to have spotted one several years ago. The account drove him into becoming a member of MUFON. (He was actually a representative of the MUFON community in Michigan for a short time.)
If you've had an encounter, or know of someone who has, we'd love to hear about it. You are free to post them here in this section of the forum.

Twice I have. The first time was when we were picking up our Mini Daschund ( Wife says it was when we were going on vacation ) One of us is messed up. One of my Step-Sons looked up...And there it was. The common triplet...just cruising on by...very obvious. The 2nd was just a week ago, I was outside having my last smoke of the night and was looking at the sky, which I always do. ( Sometime I'm going to get killed in an accident doing that ) I saw this one star that was different than the others...not in brightness, but in shape, it was more elongated. I kept watching it and realized it was moving...not at a constant speed, but it would move forward, then stop a second or 2...then move ahead again. The proccess kept repeating. To make sure I wasn't seeing things I gauged it against the gutters on the house, and it sure was moving. I contacted people in the UFO community and they told me to watch the same area over a period of months, as they most often return...and usually return closer. It's been a week...nothing yet, but I keep watching.

Welcome..  Glad you're finding your way around okay..
This is not really a UFO experience.. but I'll share what we experienced not too long ago..
Around the first of the month, we went out to the cemetary to leave some flowers/visit.. well, while we were there, we noticed lights coming over the tree line. and as we watched it.. it seemed to stop.
We all kept looking and watching it, and realized it looked to be an airplane. Not one of those big commercial airplanes, but more like a private plane.
It appeared to stop and go and was flying SOOOO slow. I thought at first, it must be further away than it appeared to be, but as it flew over top of us, it was definatley close.
I just thought it was strange, and have never seen one fly that way..

I saw something on my drive home tonight, I'm not thinking it was a UFO, but it wasn't a meteor either. I only saw it for a second or so, My first thought was that it was a plane exploding or something. I don't think it was a common fireball neither.
It looked longer than than it was tall. What I saw would be compared to 2 matches side by side, about that size, but there is no way to judge distance because it was dark and nothing to compare it to for range/distance. It was a gold or orangeish yellow and was either burning or exploded, it made sparks and they didn't follow as a tail of a comet or anything, they fell straight down, It didn't appear to be moving or have any speed to it either, it was just there. I also thought it could be maybe a transformer exploding, but there are no overhead wires along the expressway. As I was driving, it was almost to the top of the windshield by the rear view mirror, so it did have quite a lot of altitude.
Any Ideas?

I don't know.. since you cannot really judge the distance, it would be hard to say.. if it was a transformer, that could explain it why it seemed to be stationary, and the sparks coming from it..
Have you had any bad storms that might have caused it.. or maybe an accident? Keep us informed.. I'd like to know if you find out anything else.. Also.. you could do a check on NUFORC or MUFON to see if anyone else has reported seeing something similar in your area.
Recent Crop Circles.. weird lights... who knows.. it might have just been.. "a weather balloon.." if... ya know what I mean..

What was I thinking?? Of course it was a weather balloon, I should have thought that right away.
Our weather has pretty much been perfect, kind of hoping for rain for all these flowers I planted, and so I know when not to weed & feed our dandelions. Nothing out of the unusual.
I'm going to watch the paper, sometimes they have little one liners when people see things like that. If I don't hear/see anything then I'll check out those 2 agencies.
As I mentioned, it looked very similar to what movies make an exploding plane look like, but the sparks fell straight down, that was the strange part. Had they left a trail, I'd say it was a fireball, a long not round fireball.
Had to be a weather balloon.

Still, nothing in the paper or on TV. I described it at work, but just got that "Yeah...Right" look. I'll give it until Friday. It's a good thing I posted it too, because that way I have a copy of times...dates and the like, So I can get everything correct.
