I'm curious though ( I've red too about not experiencing fear ) If maybe it might be some kind of hypnosis or mind control? Even though fear is supposed to be a primevil thing ( like the hair on the back of our necks sticking up when frightened ) Maybe that part can be controlled.
I never thought of the idea of them saving us from a different race of aliens. That would in a small way fall along the same lines as the Aliens in Independence Day, where they just waste one planet, and go on to the next. Really good idea you had there Shell.

You brought up a good point too. I never considered that they might be able to control something like our fear.
I don't know if that is a good thing. Sometimes fear is the motivation to keep us progressing. If they can control that, we could end up being "worker bees" to them??

I'm way to old...well not WAY, to be a worker bee...wouldn't that be a nasty scenario to go by? I mean...I work pretty hard now...but get paid. ( I guess I get paid ) But think of having to do it for nothing, or ending up in a pot of stew. It was either yesterday or Monday I was reading on the fear thing, convincing to me. It was a reputable site too, not one of the off the wall ones.
Guess maybe I'd better check my history huh?

Oh, I don't doubt the source.. just a queezy thing to consider. Seems to me if they can do this.. they could alter our thinking on so many things.
Some abductee's claim that aliens show very little.. to no emotion. Maybe that is why they are experimenting on us? They seem to be very inquisitive about human nature.

I've read the same, about pain or fear not being a factor in the examination ( I knew real Doctors like that )
But on the serious side, We don't know everything about what makes us tick, or what some of our organs are for...could you imagine how fascinating it would be to an alien race?? Something close to a kid in a candy factory. And when you get into the area of how some people are more active than others in the paranormal world, and if it's the brain, or soul or what that causes it, It makes us all the more interesting to them.
