Who Built Them?
Speaking of Sylvia Browne on the 2012 forum, I was reading over her predictions and I remembered that in another one of her books, she also says that the great pyramids of egypt were built with the help of aliens. She also has this on her site. Do you think that it is possible?
I know people have been speculating this for years, and have "reconstructed" the way that humans might have done this. But, the notion that most of these rocks were carried many miles to build them, stumps me. Why would anyone go through such great lengths to carry such huge structures? Could it be possible that they weren't carried at all.. but lifted with the help of other worldly friends? What could be the reason?

Re: Who Built Them?
Excellent topic.
I do believe the Egyptians had outside help. There is no way I could figure they rolled them on logs...or floated them down some canal they later refilled. Some of the belief is that they were built to 'true north' as a navigational aid as well. Who was navigating where I couldn't answer, If it were aliens they should already have had some kind of navigation equipment, Could well have been a civilization from Earths core, they would be needing some type of help knowing their way around. But the big question you asked would be why? I can't answer that one, or even think up any dazzeling info, let me surf, see what I can come up with.
I'm not sure what kind of music you listen to, but ever heard Fleetwood Mac's 'Hypnotized'? Many things like this are mentioned.

Re: Who Built Them?
If you can't... I have 80,000 MP3's And I know I have it.
Also, I did some reseaech on the Pyramids, they were thought to be built not only as tombs, but possible water pumping stations, Power stations, energy vortices, beacons for alien navigation...it was a long list,
Hypnotized Lyrics:
Its the same kind of story
That seems to come down from long ago
Two friends having coffee together
When something flies by their window
It might be out on that lawn
Which is wide, at least half of a playing field
Because theres no explaining what your imagination
Can make you see and feel
Seems like a dream
(they) got me hypnotized
Now its not a meaningless question
To ask if theyve been and gone
I remember a talk about north
Carolina and a strange, strange pond
You see the sides were like glass
In the thick of a forest without a road
And if any mans ever made that land
Then I think it wouldve showed
Seems like a dream
(they) got me hypnotized
They say theres a place down in mexico
Where a man can fly over mountains and hills
And he dont need an airplane or some kind of engine
And he never will
Now you know its a meaningless question
To ask if those stories are right
cause what matters most if the feeling
You get when youre hypnotized
Seems like a dream
(they) got me hypnotized

Re: Who Built Them?
Wow, I knew they used them as tombs.. and figured they used them as some kind of navigation thing with the stars. But didn't have a clue that they also used them for water.
It would make sense about the energy vortices. Being that they used those as tombs, I can see that spiritual influences would be a factor.
Sounds like an awesome song.. I'm looking for it know..

Re: Who Built Them?
Remember back a few years...they were selling downsized pyramids for personal use? Ya ever buy one? Razor blades stayed sharp, food didn't rot..is there anything to that?
TransAmerica building in San Francisco Has to be something to it.
Now...About the song...Is North Carolina closer to you or I? I'm trying to figure what they are talking about. Ever heard of it?

Downsized pyramids for personal use? I've never heard of that? What was that all about? Was it some type of gadget or something?

Re: Who Built Them?
It was a short lived...I don't know if you could call it a fad or what, but for a time you could buy plastic or plexiglass pyramids, ranging in size from 6" to I'm thinking it was 36" in height, one side was hinged and people put a varied array of items in them to see how they fared. I remember the razor blade one very well, each day after this guy shaved he would wash it...and put it in the pyramid, and it lasted him over a year. I can't remember if it was one of them old double edged blades...they worked great!!!! or the new cartridge type, but it did last incredibly long. It was never stated though if he had peach fuzz...or a heavy beard. Was on an old BBS I used to frequent.
Which brings up a new subject...Remember BBS's? ( Pre Internet? )

Re: Who Built Them?
Pretty interesting.. no, I don't think I remember that. BBS.. nope don't remember that either.
The pyramid thing.. seems like that would be something that would be tested a bit, maybe take it a bit farther.. don't you think? Interesting concept.

Re: Who Built Them?
I thought too the pyramid sales should have stuck around more, it was very similar too mood rings & pet rocks...Kind of like I said a fad. I think buyers got bored rather quickly with them. I'm thinking though, I bet you could probably buy an old one on eBay. I wonder if they would be cheaper...or more expensive???
BBS were a type of web site, rather than connecting via the internet though, you had to physically dial their phone number to connect. At that time the average modem was either 300bps or 1200bps...very very slow. But fun. I racked up a few fantastically large phone bills from them. Also..at the time the 5.25" floppy was the hot item. CD's and 3.5" floppies were still in the planning stages. My nephew laughed hard at me when I once told him you would eventually be able to record your own CD's ( He's not laughing anymore though ) The average Hard drive was 540 MB, A high GB or TB hard drive was unimagineable.
