It would probably be very easy. Just google something like Sterling heights Michigan, Maybe add landmarks or orphanages? I doubt it would have been torn town...but who knows?

I have tried.. even tried again last night because I was thinking about it... I was surprised to find that there were so many castles in Michigan.
The problem is.. I have no idea what her name was.. I don't even think my mom remembers.. (was never very good at the family tree..) But I guess this was something that happened back in the 50's or 60's.. my mom was really very young and doesn't remember much about it at all, except the one trip with the hidden doors and stuff.. I don't know if it was then when it was being transfered or why they even visited. She doesn't remember her great grandmother... so it might have even been after she passed away..
