Night Terrors
I had a previous post on night terrors in another area. But it has come to my attention, that they are possibly caused by astral projection, and feel it is more appropriate to mention it here as well.
I had another one last night, and it was very similar to the one I experienced a couple of months ago. After talking with a good friend of mine.. (who is a Gnostic minister and also psychic).. I learned that it could be caused by becoming more aware, and opening myself up. In the process of trying to come back "into" myself, I wake up, and see what is "in between" as well as earthly reality itself. The feeling of being paralyzed, and not being able to scream, I think is what makes it so scary.
As you know, I have been doing lots of meditation, and am trying to connect more fully with spirit, and learning to develop whatever abilities I have. I believe that what she told me explains a lot. She explained that as you are becoming more open.. you will recieve all sorts of images and experiences.
So.. if you have ever experienced this, I'm sure you can relate. I now believe it is nothing to be afraid of, even though at the time it is down right terrifying. Her advice to me, was to pray and ask for protection by surrounding myself with the white light of the holy spirit, and to ask God for an easy "re-entry". Eventually, you will be able to overcome this sensation.
You may even begin to learn to astral project by will (although that is something I don't plan on trying..  )
