Personal Stories
I want to share a story that my mother experienced with my great grandmother.
My great grandmother had injured her leg, they tried antibiotics and several other treatments, thinking that it was really nothing serious... Everyone, including her, thought that she was in good health, and didn't realize the true nature of her injury, and why it wasn't healing..
A short time later, they found out she had bone cancer. She was admitted to the hospital and within the next couple of days, my mother went to visit her.
She had told my mother, that it was time for her to go. My mom asked her, where she was going.. her grandma said she was going home.. My mom didn't understand, because she thought if she had just been admitted, and they just found out she had cancer, why would they be sending her home already?
My grandmother told her.."No, sweety, I'm going home to God". "He told me I could have one more cigarette, and then he's gonna come and get me."
My mom said she begged her not to go, but she held her hand as she crushed out her last smoke, and she layed back.. took a deep breath and "left her body" My mom said she felt her go right through her.
My mom and great grandmother were very close.. I sometimes wonder if maybe she knew that she was sick. My mom said that she never seemed ill at all, except for the problems with her leg. I wonder if she waited in the hospital just to see her one last time. If maybe her last words to my mom, were for inspiration.
My mom says she's never experienced anything like that before, and she swears the feeling of her passing through her was like a warm glow, that radiated from her hand all the way through.
I would love to hear other stories of this nature.

Re: Personal Stories
That is an amazing story for sure. And I believe there is much to it. Even more so when people are extremely close. Somewhat like you are bonded as one. You feel what the other feels, and the other way around.
I've not had a whole lot of dealings with death yet. I was way to young when my Grand Parents passed and when my Dad & Brother-in-law passed I was on the opposite end of the continent, So I've not been having to deal with that directly.
