Jack
When I lived in Washington state I managed an RV resort. I knew almost everyone ( that's just me ) One of our members named Jack was a very good friend, He would take me out Sturgeon and Salmon fishing and was just a good guy. We were out one day and started talking about things...Kinda like on Jaws when they were talking about tattoos & shark bites. Jack then opened up big time ( he was covered all over his body with nasty deep scars ) He told me once he was in his motor home doing some repairs and his propane tank exploded. He was totally engulfed in fire. By the time the EMT's got him out he was burned over 80% of his body. He was talking about being in the emergency room and dying. He was on the table and the white lights came...his spirit floated out of his body and hovered for what he thought was almost an hour. He was watching the Doctors work on him ( his wife wasn't allowed in because he was in such terrible shape ) then he floated back down. He said he was out for 4 days in a drug induced coma so his fluids could replace and such. When he awoke he told his story to the Dr's and they said he did pass, but it was for only 90 seconds he had no life signs. I wish I could get him here to tell his story, he does it much better. He's not afraid to talk of it and has been on 3 different TV programs being interviewed about it.

Re: Jack
Wow, poor guy it's good that he ended up okay, but I don't think I could handle floating above seeing myself just lying there! Even though that was an interesting story... hehehe!

Re: Jack
Yeah, Wish I could get him to tell it though...get more detail, I just did it 2nd person. He was really messed up for nearly 3 years. Most often when people have things like that happen to them, they turn to God, and say he saved them. He really had no explanation, just a strong will to live.

Re: Jack
Such a tragic thing to go through, but I do believe the power of the mind can be a miracle in itself, and to be able to see things from the perspective that your friend did, only proves that there is life after death.
So many people can recover and pull through some of the worst situations. Sometimes, just coming back, and sharing their story can be an inspiration.
My friend Molly, was the only one that I've ever met that had claimed to have a near death experience. (her's was similar to your friends')
NDE's have always intrigued me, and I think they should be taken more seriously. So many people want to discount the possibility, that these events do occur, and they speak volumes to the one's their story is told to.
