The Visit
This is just a short on...but interesting.
My aunt was just days away from passing and her room was filled with her immediate family and they were talking. In mid sentence while talking with her daughter she asked her who that ugly woman was sitting next to her. There was no chair next to her for anyone to be sitting in it turned out. But my Aunt argued there was. ( My aunt was dying of cancer and wasn't all doped up...she was really sharp up until the night she died. )
After disputing there was anyone sitting there my Aunt started talking to the ugly woman. The conversation was over in under 10 minutes, but my Aunt revealed the ugly woman was actually her mother who preceeded her in death, and visited to tell her everything would be okay, And she would see her soon.
Okay, I think that would be freaky. My only thought on this one was the term ugly woman. When we pass...do we just rot away and exist...or what made my Grandma appear so ugly?
