Life altering dreams

We were talking about astral travel on the other post, and baddco mentioned flying dreams. I decided to post one of the dreams I had several years ago here..

This was going on in a very, very, bad time in my life. In my dream, there was what looked like a demon at the foot of my bed. He was grabbing at me and I was trying to get away, and I got so mad that my husband wasn't helping me. I could see him on the couch asleep.. I kept screaming for him to help me, but he wouldn't wake up.. So then I screamed "God help me!" Just as quickly as I had spoken the words, the demon was gone, and an angel appeared at my window.
She opened the window and reached out her hands for me, I remember seeing the window like the house was floating in mid air.. I couldn't see the ground, only the sky. I took her by the hands and she pulled me through the window.. and we went soaring into the sky.
Then I woke up..

This was the MOST vivid dream I have ever had. I can still see all the details like I had just drempt it.

This was a few months after my father-n-law had passed away. My husband was not dealing with his death, in the best way possible. I don't know if it was some kind of warning, or just a dream.. but it really seemed to change my perspective on every level.

That is a vivid dream. I wish I could remember mine better. I know I've had them, as thoughts and memories keep rattling around in my head of them, I remember just sketchy details...You know...enough to make me look dumb.

I've woken up from a few...just as I was about to get shot or whatever, but no major details.

Dreams are a funny thing.. I've thought about adding a section to the site about them, but there are so many aspects to analyzing dreams..

Possiblilites that I've heard of for dreams could be.. a warning.. (premonition) cell memory (experience in another life) or it could just be a way of working everyday problems out..

Just about everything you read has a different discription of what certain symbols are.. and they also claim that you don't dream in color, but I don't believe that.. I have seen colors in my dreams.. and I don't think I just picture it that way once I wake up..

I remember hearing back in grade school ( Yes, it was bigger than 1 room with a pot belly stove ... It was 4 rooms ) we were told dreams were always in Black and White, No color. But no one could remember their dreams back then to disprove the theory.

I also was led to believe that dogs are color blind and a dog year was 7 of theirs to one of ours. Now I've read that dogs can actually see colors, but not to the degree we can, And that one of our years is the same as 11 to them.

I'll side with you on the color dreaming. But not certain what to believe about dog years, I'm not too sure it truly makes a difference.

I've heard the same things.. and I agree with you. But, if dog years are 7 or 11 years to our 1, Jack is now about 6 years old.. which would make him.. 42-66 years old.. (and I consider him my "son"..) hehehe..

Fred is going on 6...and he's starting to gray rather gracefully. Probably better than I will.
