Mill Pond

Some friends of mine and I went out to Mill Pond cemetery last week, that is where we captured some of our evp's listed on the evp page..

We spent a good while out there, and captured a few odd things.. the photos are mostly of orbs, even though the paranormal community doesn't like to discuss orbs, you have to admit, they are pretty cool in their own way.. I do believe they are some kind of energy force..

Right before I captured one of them, I saw a small flash of light, but it wasn't a bug, flashlight, headlight..etc.. It was small.. so I hurried up and took a photo.. and captured an orb.. how weird is that?

There are also a few evps.. and I plan on getting them added to the site in a few days.. I've been kind of busy with other things, so I am kind of in a slacking mode.. but will try to get them up a.s.a.p! emoticon

Who ain't slacking lately? I know I am, but with spring clean-up, fixing broke computers and trying to keep my site from getting out dated & crusty. You better start using the scanner...posting a few pics. I know...look who's talking.

Also a little FYI, Microsoft released Service Pack 3 for XP yesterday. Takes about 90 minutes to install.

I will look into the s.p. 3.. as for the pictures.. they are currently on my computer.. I took them with my digital.. I think I will just add them to the forum, and not the main site, because of the controversy with orbs.. but they are interesting anyway..

The evp's.. I have to go back through them, and pull the clips from the full audio.. and add them to the site.. I keep meaning to do that.. but just haven't yet..

My goal is to have all of them up by this weekend.. emoticon

I've been meaning to ask, what do you use to edit the EVP's? You know..to cut out the noise or dead sound in the Lead-In and Lead-Out? I have a nifty little program that works well, you can save to almost any format...and again...the best part, it's free.

I use Audacity.. it's free.. and has all kinds of filters.. though I only use the amplify one.. because if you over process a recording.. it just sounds fake.. and electronic sounding..

I plan on doing this today.. I said by this weekend.. and it's nearly over already! whew... need to get on the ball..

We call this one Lemont.. (It is similar to the ones we used to capture in our home.. looks like a lemon.. emoticon)

I saw a "flash" right before I took this photo.. it was not a lighting bug/flashlight.. or anything else that I had seen before.. so I took this photo hoping to catch something, and caught an orb.. strange coincidence..

Well.. there you have it.. not much as far as apparitions or anything unmistakeably "paranormal" but interesting anyway..

Those are very good!! I'm thinking what surprised me most is they seem to have texture, except the possible bug flying by. I was led to believe all orbs were like solid appearing objects, not textured. At least the ones I've seen in pictures are that way. The most interesting was the one that looked as if it were hiding, I thought that was way cool.

I agree.. I don't know that much about orbs, and their "scientific" explainations, but I do think there is some kind of energy force behind them.. some you capture, you can tell it is dust by the way the whole photo looks, and some do not have that "plasma" look to them either..

The one that looks as if it is hiding.. that one is pretty cool.. and caught my attention right away..

I captured one in my house about a year ago.. my son was in the kitchen, and I snapped a shot from the next room, and caught a massive orb about 1 foot from the floor. The orb was SO bright it reflected off of the floor.. my computer crashed and lost it.. (talk about upset!!)

That's when we were experiencing a lot of unexplained noises and footsteps in our house, and when we were capturing most of our EVP'S... so yeah.. I do think ... some, but not all... orbs are caused by spirit energy..

I'll bet you were upset when the computer crashed, and everything went on vacation, You need a thumb drive for things like that, an easy way to back things up. And you could very well be on to something thinking spirit energy, it could very well be why the computer crashed, the energy wasn't in the mood to be photographed?

On things like this, I always believe they in which ( I know I'm not describing it right ) they have the choice of beeing seen, or not being seen.

I definately believe they have the decision of being seen or not seen.. but sometimes, I think that they don't realize we are there, just like we don't notice them..

As for the computer crashing.. I should have expected it.. problem was it was an older p.c. and the cd rom wasn't working.. so I couldn't back up anything.. I had transfered some things to my daughters computer with my flash drive, so I was lucky enough to save some things..

I noticed when we were hearing alot of things in the house.. I would pick a particular spot.. and ask if they would go near there and let me take their photo.. alot of times I caught orbs right in the spot I asked them to "stand".. emoticon

Also, we noticed singing seems to bring more orbs! My kids and I did an experiment a couple of times with this.. I would stand in a corner.. and we would all sing a short song, and then I'd take a few photos.. and we actually caught several doing this..

Of course it is thought that singing produces good energy or postive vibes.. this is also one reason people sing in church.. it is believed that it also brings angels.. Sylvia Browne says all orbs are angels.. (I don't know how true that is..) but it would explain all the orbs..

I also believe children possess a high energy field.. and I think that is why they notice spirits or have "invisible friends" so often. Times that by children singing.. well, you might just end up with a houseful.. emoticon
