Chupacabra in South Texas
This is the story I was talking about. Have you seen it yet?Chupacabra in South Texas
We were watching it..it does look strange. The wife thinks it has some Mule characteristics to it, It sure isn't a dog..or coyote.

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
Wow... that is pretty weird looking isn't it? I saw something on MonsterQuest.. or maybe it was "Is It Real?" Maybe a week ago on the chupacabra.. The one they showed that was captured was a lot like the one a woman captured in her yard.
They did DNA testing on it, and it didn't show anything conclusive. They mentioned it could be a coyote, or fox with some kind of skin disease..which they compared to elephant-like. (but there are too many to believe it's something like that)
Plus, the face does look different.. to me it almost looks like the face of a deer/dog.. But even if it was a wolf or something like that.. they don't normally kill their prey by sucking the blood out of them, then leave them.. that's not normal behavior.

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
I believe there is something to that, and there is something out there. But I also think some may just be a freak of nature...Like the 2 headed cow or the frog with 5 legs. I also believe some may be attributed to evolution in general. We can't stay the same forever.

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
You're right.. it could be some evolutionary creature.. I don't think it is a mutant creature though, because there are just TOO many reports of them, and I believe they only evolved over the last 20 years or so.. at least the reports seem to stem back around that time.
Weird.. two "unknown" creatures hitting the headlines as some kind of proof within the past week..
Now, maybe Nessie will give us a hello..

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
I did a report on Nessie way back in 7th grade. It was the only time in all my 12 years of school I got an 'A' I was interested then too. I helped a friend do one on UFO's / Aliens and he got a B. Only because he switched my original story around to Adams Apple eating and assorted things, It was still good, but the original would have gotten him a better grade.

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
Sounds like that would have been a fun report.. I never got to do anything that didn't deal with facts, or had questionable material.. We always had a given topic.. (not much room for being creative)
I seen that same video though of the chupacabra on the front page of yahoo yesterday.. pretty cool!

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
School was fun, before High School. After that it was fun in a different way. Pretty much we could write about anything. I doubt that would be allowed in our present time.
Is the Yahoo video the same as what was on TV? Or is it different? ( Shorter / Longer? More images? ) I'll see what I can find.

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
Isn't it amazing how things just disappear from the web? Google is famous for that, and it's too bad, it's my favorite Search Engine.
I think once something is up, so long as it's not racist or hurtful or something along these lines, it should be left up, until it fades away on it's own.

Re: Chupacabra in South Texas
I agree.. I'm sure it's available in many places.. you'll just probably have to dig for it.. I think if it's not one of the TOP stories.. they shuffle it to somewhere else.
