On the same note.. what you were saying about people from the future.. that could possibly be true too.. If we learn to travel back in time, maybe they are trying to give us subtle messages??
I sometimes think that's who aliens really are.. they have been known to give insight in several things.. but not in a way we can really understand it.. telepathy is one.. I think we all have the ability to use it.. we just don't know how.

I'm a staunt believer in telepathy, as well as telekinisis. I think everyone has the ability, but as you mentioned, either we don't know we have it, or we are unable to use it properly, or control it.
I'm still thinking though that aliens are aliens, The universe is just to big to think we are the only beings out there, either smarter or dumber than us.
And no one can really know just how vast it is, we can guess...theorize and the like, but no one ( at least us humans ) could know for sure.
Then that stupid question, if it does end...what's on the other side? Is it a huge barrier?? Are we specimens in someones fruit jar?

I have no doubts that there is other life in the universe.. Have you ever seen the movie "Mission to Mars"? That is kind of what I'm thinking.. of how it might be.. pretty cool concept..
As for the afterlife.. I have developed a very clear picture in my mind of the basics.. I do believe people exists wherever they feel they should.. say they were a real believer in heaven or hell.. and they feel that they did such a horrible job in this life, that they will surely face hell.. and that's exactly what they create for themselves.. until they realize they don't want to anymore.. everything is thought created.
But I do think there are those to help us.. I think many things will become clear once we reach that state, and we will understand so many things.

The thoughts you shared about Heaven - Hell were very good. I never thought of it that way. However you think you lived your life is where you will end up. I'm still out to lunch on my final destination though, I guess I may end up Incognito. I've done very good things, but have also not been such an angel.
I think that's all of us to a certain point though. I honestly can't see how anyone can go an entire life time without doing one bad thing.

I think for those who have very deep beliefs in their religious views, have a more difficult time, only because they "expect" certain things... if, like you, are kind of in a toss up, you might not experience anything other than the peace and love that surrounds you in the end.. you are more open to possiblities, and may see things for what they really are.
I've kind of heard this theory for many years.. whose to say if it's right or wrong.. but I honestly believe there is no human alive today without sin.. and I don't believe God thinks so little of us to throw us into the pits of Hell..
My kids have backtalked me, my first reaction is to remind them not to speak that way, only because it hurts people's feelings.. as a parent, I don't know how any being.. so full of love and understanding.. could ever toss one of his children into hell.. because they disagreed, or because they went astray.. that doesn't make any sense to me.
Why would he create a list of rules.. and demand us not to break them.. then give us free will?? Ever think about that? Sounds to me like someone who requires an ego trip.. and that's not how I see God at all.

Very good point...about free will.
I just think it's more common for kids to say what's on their mind. I was raised...and you probably were too, to believe whatever you were told...without question. That won't cut it in present times.
There are things I agree with on how kids are today, and there are other things I don't agree with. I guess it's pretty much a wash there.

I know what you're saying.. years ago, it was "do as I say.." and you didn't question it.. you knew better..
But I decided I would let my kids make their own choices about certain things.. give them choices.. and let them figure out what rings true to them.. especially religion. I think they feel that they can be open and discuss whatever they are feeling.. I think people in general have learned to be more open as well..

Absolutely the ancients knew things we can't even imagine now, and that is the main reason we should pay more attention to those stories and folklore tales handed down over time. I honestly believe there is so much to them. People way back then weren't all doped up like they are today and were more in tune with their thoughts and bodies.
Present time you get put on medications for so many different things. If a kid acts up...medicate him. If your eyes water..pop a pill.
I think humans are just getting weaker and weaker and more frail as we evolve. Who knows...will we all be blobs soon...and just think are way through life?

I couldn't agree with you more. I think ancient traditions should be a basis for our culture. People knew how to care for each other and themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. They had honor and respect for every creature, and love and kindness for their families. Their elders were revered for their wisdom, instead of being pushed away and forgotten.
I think we will see an increase in more holistic healing in the near future. I also think when the next president gets into office, we will see more people coming together and unite in a way that we haven't seen since 9-11. (At least, I'm hoping for that).
