I know how that feels.. I used to work a 12 hr shift, 7pm to 7am.. tough to get used to, my worst time was around 3am.. once I got past that.. I was okay..

Hope the time flies for you!

You know what the worst part is? The bosses work 12 hours too, butt a couple hours off of our schedule. So when we come in at 5pm they have all the glitches of the shift change fixed...and are ready to get down to business. Then when they have their shift change the incoming boss is all fresh & rested, and thinks we should be too, and treats us like we just woke up, not like we already have 9 hours in. That makes it tough.

Man, that would be tough.. you'd think they would notice that? I had a boss who'd spend most of his time in an air conditioned office, and leave when the day got too hot.. then he'd wonder why everyone would be dragging themselves working on presses when it was 100* in the building.. I think some bosses let it go to their heads.. I've always had a great respect for those who would pitch in and help their employees..

Most our bosses do help, only a couple that don't. But you always have that feeling that they know they are in charge, and feel they are just a bit better than you. That I have a huge problem with.

I work for 3 different bosses on different hours, One is okay...he gives me an added 8 hours every now and again, the 2nd will at least buy our lunch on occasion ( nothing is open after 11:00pm and we gotta eat. The 3rd is just a loud jerk.
