Re: Bigfoot
I'm not a hunter, but you are right, I can think of a few other things higher on the food chain than ifrared film, a bag of Jerky for instance. I tend to agree, I thing the entire thing was staged. Which is to bad too, because it then feeds the fire for debunkers.

Re: Bigfoot
Just a gross thought went through my mind here...Do you suppose it smells like a bear with mange?
Or more like a dude wearing Axe?

Re: Bigfoot
hehehe.. I don't know.. but I've watched programs where Bigfoot was supposed to be spotted.. and the reports were that there was an awful pudgent smell. Even the hair that was found had a foul odor..
Makes me think twice about stumbling upon one..

Re: Bigfoot
You know, I agree with the entire train of thought on Bigfoot, except for one minor thing ( This holds true to The Beast Of Bray Road critter as well ) Which I can relate to, it was less than 25 miles from where I lived in Wisconsin. But the only part I can't agree with...they always picture them with glowing red eyes, I just don't agree with that one. I know most is for visual effects on TV and the like...but be real...make it more believable.

Re: Bigfoot
Well.. ya know, maybe it's something like a cat's eyes .. where they kind of glow a different color in the dark? Sometimes little critters in the wild have similar eyes.. though, not usually red.. maybe that is what they are comparing them to?
But, if bigfoot exists, and is like the next step down from a human, I can't see how their eyes could be much different from ours.. ? What do you think?

Re: Bigfoot
I think that's where my train of thought was, but my mind wandered. I think that when a creature is portrayed to have red eyes, the writer of the article is trying to put fear in the mind of the reader. Which is unfair, Like I mentioned I spent many years in the Pacific Northwest, heard many stories about Bigfoot. And none were negative...it has never tried ripping out a persons heart, or any creature...no violence ever. It may well be a very peaceful creature who wants to keep a distance from mankind...and be completely left alone. We are invading their territory. Not the other way around.
So yes, I can't see why they wouldn't have eye color similar to ours.
Loved that link by the way...bookmarked it, bookmarked the past few you posted. ( Thank You Shell )

Re: Bigfoot
Did you hear about this?? I missed this show too.. The caption on this article is titled:
"Did History Channel Find Bigfoot?" The Show "MonsterQuest" supposidly captured evidence of this creature on thier last night of filming. Hair was found in a bear trap that is unknown to any species... a rock was thrown into the woods, only to be thrown back at a high rate of speed..
Check out the article.. http://www.nypost.com/seven/11092007/tv/did_history_channel_find_big_foot__713410.htm

Re: Bigfoot
I wanted to watch that, but that's the down side of working nights...I miss all the good stuff. A good number of our truck drivers come from Ontario, I'll ask them if they live close...or know anything about it.
Truck Drivers are pretty smart too!!!

Re: Bigfoot
i tend to lean towards bigfoot being real, however in all the years you would think at least one dead body or at least some bones would have turned up.
then again there was a plane crash back in the 80s or 90s in the wilderness of washington state. a small cessna or something. they searched for this thing for a long time and had to give up. it was discovered by hikers like 5 years later. point being, you can hide very well in that kind of territory.
